About Refunds

I guarantee your satisfaction or your money back. However, if for any reason you do want your money back, please know that once work has begun on any given project, there will be certain costs involved that are not refunded. Please understand that I must have these Terms and Conditions in order protect my investment in the hours of service that was provided to you. I will create a design, and if you approve, will move forward with that design. If you do not approve the first sample, I will create one more for you and you can compare the two.

Website Design

• Any website design that has been officially approved by you: You will be charged for any work that has already been completed at my hourly rate of $40 and it will be deducted from your deposit. The rest will be refunded.

• If work has begun on any design and I've completed at least 1 revision for you: You will be charged for any work that has already been completed at my hourly rate of $40 which will be deducted from your deposit. The rest will be refunded.

• If the company/farm closes down or changes their name or activities. Work will cease and you will be liable for work completed.

• Each website design project will have it's own mutually agreed upon Terms and Conditions statement included within the contract.

•  Project hours are logged and very strict records are kept.

• ALL BALANCES must be received no later than 7 days from the approval and completion of the site design.  If you content is not complete due to you not providing text or pictures, you will still be required to pay the balance due for your design. After the 7 day period expires, if your payment is not received, your account will be assessed an additional LATE FEE of $5.00 per week.

• RETURNED CHECK POLICY: If you bounce a check, you will be responsible for ALL bank fees incurred as a result, the entire balance, as well as a return check fee of $50. No exceptions.

 

Website Logos & Headers

Website Logo Designs are not only inexpensive but a real bargain when you think of the value it adds to your website. My fee is normally $40 per hour, and some logo designs with revisions can take up to 2 or more hours, which is why my Logo Services are such a bargain.

• Once a web logo design has been approved by you, and you have paid for it. There are no refunds.

• I'll work with you, if there is some sort of problem, please let me know. I want you to be completely satisfied with my services.

Legal Rights Agreement for Logo Designs

Any logos created and designed by Hoof & Horn Web Design belong to you as long as you have paid for the service. You are free to register your logo under your name or trademark. I give all rights to you.

 

Work Agreement

Once you decide that you want me to design or redesign your website, the process begins.

• E-mail me your ideas & preferences, and approx. number of animals - if this is a farm website. This is the beginning of the website design process. I will gather the information that you provide and send you an estimate for the project. Your e-mail confirmation and subsequent mails will be considered a binding agreement and will be kept in your file.

• If you want something specifically outlined in the agreement, please let me know.

• Once everything is agreed upon, a deposit is required, dependent upon the size of your website. This information is located on the PRICES page.

• Work begins.

• At each project milestone, I will place your website–in–progress at a location where you can view it online to see how it's shaping up. This will not be within your domain yet, however, it will give you the opportunity to see it as it progresses. You site design will not be left on my server for review for more than 1 month, as the design and all of it's images take up space on my server. You will need to begin making arrangements for your own host service as the work on your design progresses. I suggest KHIMAIRA WEB HOSTING SOLUTIONS.

• During the design process, you will have the opportunity to make any changes or suggestions.

• Once the DESIGN is completed and you are satisfied, the final payment is made and the website is yours. Completion of the design does NOT include your content. I have had clients take LITERALLY MONTHS to gather their site information, and all those months I was not paid. For now on, the balance is to be paid no later than 7 days from the approval and completion of the site design.

• Updates can be contracted via monthly maintenance plans if you anticipate many regular updates, OR you can contract me as needed at $10 per hour, with a minimum charge of $10 per update.

Hoof & Horn Web Design is NOT a hosting service.

You will need a domain and host service.
