HOW TO GET A HOOF & HORN KID!
|
|
$75 will hold the kid of your
choice, deposits are non- refundable (including canceled
orders). If the kid of your choice is
not born, you may apply your deposit to any other AVAILABLE kid
(see chart above). IF no other kid is AVAILABLE, then you will
receive your deposit back. If you do not pay for your kid within
the time frame established, you will forfeit your deposit and the kid(s) will be offered to
the next interested buyer. |
|
|
The veterinarian
charges a flat fee to come to the farm to inspect the goats
for health certificates required for interstate travel. The
vet's fee is $55, plus the health certificate (below). |
|
|
The veterinarian
charges $10 (per animal) to come to the farm and examine each animal
and provide and file a health
certificate. This is in addition to the farm call listed
above. Please understand that we do not set the vet's fees, so we
cannot give "breaks" on them. |
|
|
Shipping
crates/kennels must be airline approved. They can be purchased
online - either from supply stores or from the airline - and you can have the crate delivered directly to us. The crate must
arrive PRIOR to the date of transport. |
|
|
The charge depends
entirely upon the airline you choose. I recommend using
Delta's Pet's First program. Delta's program allows you to pay
for your animal's flight "cash on pickup". This
means no funds must be sent directly to us for the flight. The
expenses (all associated) of transport are the responsibility
of the BUYER.
Transportation of
kids being delivered by ground is the responsibility of the
buyer.
NOTE: The
airline of your choice MUST accept pets as cargo and fly out
of Daytona Beach International Airport (DBIA).
|
|
|
With the ever
increasing cost of diesel fuel, I will have to charge a fuel
fee for transporting to the airport in Daytona Beach. At this
time, the fuel fee is $50. This fee is subject to change
without notice based on the current price at the pump HERE,
not in your home state, as prices vary throughout the country. |
|
|
|
Transport fees are the buyer's
responsibility. Flights using Delta's Pet First program are
recommended and Delta allows you to pick up your kid COD (cash on
delivery) when you arrive to pick up at the airport.
Transportation of kids being delivered by ground is the
responsibility of the buyer.
We reserve breeder's right to first
choice of all kids. We recommend that you make a 1st and
2nd selection if possible. If we decide to retain a
kid for herd improvement that was previously reserved, another kid
could be offered, or the deposit will be refunded.
We will notify you when the kid is born you then
have two weeks to pay for the kid in full. If not paid in full at
that time the kid will be offered to someone else. Deposits for kids
NOT paid for on time are NOT refundable.
We prefer to ship kids at 3-4 weeks of age, if the
kid is left at the farm after that time a boarding charges will be
added, at the rate of $3.00 per day.
Sales of older kids and adult animals shall be
completed within 10 days of confirmation of interest.
If
you have any questions or need any further assistance, please do not
hesitate to e-mail or call.

We
will occasionally list buck kids out of first fresheners, but will not sell a
buck if it does not meet our standards.
First fresheners will have to be evaluated for some time after
freshening before any bucks will be sold.
We
reserve the right to purchase 20 straws of semen from any buck sold
for the cost of collection.
